Block Toss

Full pattern instructions with size options and fabric requirements given to participants in the class for you to be able to make again and again.
Supplies needed for class:

-Sewing machine in good working order
-80/12 needle in machine
-Light colored thread for piecing
-Thread snips
-Small pressing mat and iron for work at your station
-Rotary cutter and ruler for cutting pieces for blocks and sashings
-Best Press for final pressing of blocks 
-Fabrics listed below (no need to have batting/backing at class time)

Fabric Requirements for Quilt Shown:
-(20) 2 1/2" strips in a variety of prints (half a jelly roll)
-1 7/8yd of background (this includes border and binding)
*optional center square low volume print can be used instead of background fabric -- would need (3) 2 1/2" strips
-1/4yd of fabric for faux piping in binding
-3 1/4yd backing fabric ~or~ if using wide backing you would need 1 1/2yd

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: The 4-hour class covers precutting pieces, how to make the blocks and add sashing. Layout is discussed as well as size options. This quilt has a faux piped binding, also taught in the class!
