Hexagon Kaleidoscope Quilt
Fabric that provided 6 repeats of the print, you may wish to be extra for
border or binding. OR you can buy 6 identical fabric panels. Staff will assist
you in choosing a good print that will work. **You want a print with a
repeat that measures at least 18” up to 24”.
For FIRST class:
-Fabric you purchased for this class
-Flat headed pins (your ruler will be on top of these, so no round headed
pins will work)
-SHARP fresh rotary blade in your rotary cutter, you will be cutting through 4
layers of fabric
-Ruler measuring at least 18” long and 5” wide AND a 60 degree ruler that
can cut at least 6” triangles
-NO SEWING MACHINE ☺
-Iron/ironing surface if you have them as the fabric will have to be pressed
before we begin.
For SECOND class:
-Sewing machine in good working order
-Thread snips
-Thread to match for piecing use only
-Iron/ironing surface for use when assembling
blocks/pressing as you go
