Sit and Sew - Patchwork Sewing Machine Cover
These supplies are for a medium size machine. You can bring the machine
for which you plan to make the cover - or the dimensions of a larger machine if you cannot bring to class.
Adjustments can be made for larger machines.
Bring your own sandwich. Sew There! will provide chips and dip, brownies
and water/coffee.
Supplies: Twenty 5" squares
1/4 yd coordinating fabric for sides and binding
3/4 yd lining fabric
30 x 35" piece of batting, fusible fleece, or thin foam (Sew There! has these)
Sewing machine, walking foot for machine quilting
Coordinating thread, scissors, pins and clips
Learn the basics of using a serger to overcast seams - or using the overcast foot
that comes with some machines.
