Purchase the “Poinsettia and Stars” pattern and select fabrics as specified by the pattern. Instead of using “fat eighths,” you could use approximately 12 fat quarters.

Tier 1 is for quilters with patchwork experience. The quilt blocks are based on HSTs, Flying Geese, quarter square triangles, and sew and flip construction. These quilters would attend a tutorial for one hour each month. This tier appeals to quilters who want to make this lovely quilt, hone their patchwork skills, and fellowship with an encouraging community of quilters.

Tier 2 is for quilters with sewing experience, rotary cutting experience, and some patchwork experience. These quilters would attend the one-hour tutorial along with Tier 1 quilters each month and stay for a follow-on sewing session. This class is limited to 6 quilters. Think of this BOM as Patchwork 201. Instruction will not cover instruction on quilting and binding.
