Rope Basket
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Rope is available for purchase at Sew There, no need to purchase in advance of class, you can purchase that day!
Minimum 15 Wonder Clips
Scissors
Fresh 90/14 or 100/16 needle
Glue stick – (like Elmer’s Glue)
For small basket, you will need approx 10-12 strips of fabric measuring 1” wide cut from selvage to selvage.
For large basket, approx. 20 strips, same width of 1” cut from fabric selvage to selvage. (A good medium size basket will take about 20-24 strips at 1” wide, so that equals about ¾ of a yard of fabric)
Thread – A good quality regular quilting thread that goes with your fabric (you want it to blend in)
Sewing machine that has zig zag function.
